This illustration is for the Halloween contest of EA Canada should be under the theme which are relationship and harmony between Halloween treats and EA sports. I wanted to make the story with EA logo pin which is being sold in EA store,now. I, first , came up with Sports Star and happiness, then I thought "how can I make them happy?". Finally, I nailed down this broad contents to the Relationship between EA logo pin as to one of most wanted halloween treat to the Sport Star(big-guy).

At the begining stage, I chose the up down pentagonal composite to grab the eyes and emphasize the main element(Jack-o'-lantern). See the link below for the final concept drawing. http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/154805/154805_1161733803_medium.jpg
I drew a pattern which was good to unify elements to the big one. In regards to colour, I tried make good balance and combination of it.
Used tool - Concept drawing - Color pencil. Painting - Photoshop CS.
